Eligibility
- Combined household income less than $210,000/year
- Property value less than $3 million
- Existing hot water system being replaced is more than 3 years old
- Haven't previously claimed the Solar Victoria battery rebate
How to claim — a quick 5 minutes
Of the three rebates, Solar Victoria is the only one you'll lodge yourself through their online portal — it takes about 5 minutes. It has to be in your name because Solar Victoria verifies your identity and property eligibility against government records before approving the application.
What you'll need handy:
- Your Medicare card number
- A recent rates notice
- A recent ATO notice of assessment
- 5 minutes

We upload your quote to the Solar Victoria portal on your behalf. Solar Victoria will then send you a direct link to complete your application and upload your identity and eligibility documents. Once approved, Solar Victoria will issue a QR code for us to scan on the day of installation. The rebate is applied as a point-of-sale discount, deducted directly from your invoice.
